i would try hotels.com and orbitz.com, they have done well for me

Sometimes your best bet is to call the hotel directly. They have rooms they don’t tell anyone about and if you ask for a discount they will usually give you one.

What I normally do is I search the net for hotels in the area I am goin to and contact them diredtly and get the rates and see if they will work down the rate a bit. Also if you look them up online you can get other guest comments on there stay and the property. Trip advisor is the best website to find nice hotels and other comments if its clean, friendly staff and so on. So start by doin a search on hotels by brand names. Good Luck!!
