Sorry if this doesnt really answer your question but- if youre lookin for a hotel- a cheap one-this might be stupid, but i went to el-nido with no reservations with a friend and found a cheap hotel- with clean communal bathrooms for 2k ($40) a night. El Nido is BEAUTIFUL and all you need a room for is-sleeping. At least thats how i see it- I spent all my time island hopping! You can find cheap hotels right along the shore line, my was a beach front place! There are plenty of cheap places!
