I have many years of being a regular hotel front desk clerk, but I recently just got hired to be a LIVE-IN desk clerk where I live at the hotel…which is very different to me. How exactly does it work when the hotel does not have a 3rd shift? Do people call down to the room and u have to jump out of bed, etc? How do you know if people are at the desk or something? Has anybody ever done this before? This hotel is a 69 room facility and pretty big. Anybody have any past experience and/or knowledge they can share in this field?
