6th Avenue Motor Hotel ain’t a bad place to start…..they’ll negotiate.

The cheapest in downtown seattle i could find was Eighth Aveune Inn on Orbitz for 62.00 a night
You might want to check priceline and you can enter your own price i have used it before and got a 4star hotel in portland for 35.00.

If you don’t mind the idea of a hostel, I’d recommend staying here:
It’s in the heart of downtown, right in the middle of Pike Place Market, the Waterfront and Pioneer Square. For about $50-60/night, you can get a private room.
