How old do you have to be to get a hotel room?

I’m planning on see’ing my bf this weekend and he lives 2 hours away. He was going to get a hotel room for me with his credit card because he is 18. I’m 17, turning 18 this year. And so since he can’t charge it on his card cause he might exceed his limit, i was going to put it on mine. I am on my mom’s account but i have my own card. So i was wondering if i can get a hotel room???? N i need advice.

You usually need to be 18, but you should be alright, I used to work for a major hotel and as long as he checks in under his name, they don’t care how the room is paid for as long as you are there to show it is your card. Of course take my advice with some caution, different places may work differently. Good Luck

WOW, first of all would your mom even know your going to use her card to shack up with your bf? If your bf is 18 he should be paying for it, that excuse just smells fishy. Man if my daughter did this I would whip her butt from here to hades. You should really not be getting hotel rooms with the guy till your older and have your own means of paying for it. Or he does.
Use protection, be careful, don’t get used with silly excuses to get you to “pay” for the room. Whose Idea was it anyway that you use “your’ ma’s card”?
Smells fishy!!! Guys aren’t stupid, watch your back. I think you need to be 18 with CC, and valid Drivers license.

Depends on the hotel, normally you have to be 18, but some may not let you get one until your 21.
I just hope your mother knows what your doing. I wouldn’t suggest doing anything your not ready for. I know plenty of young girls, who all ended up pregnant long before they were 19. I would hate for the same thing to happen to you.
