Depends on what you want to do. Many of the musems are free here, but if your looking to do shopping or eating and more entertainment than sightseeing, D.C. is a pretty expensive city. Transportation is modest, if you take the subway or bus…cab can be expensive, eating out is hit or miss, but any place good is going to cost.
DC is extremely expensive compared to other cities, but your question is vauge. If you plan on eatingout every night and going out it an get really pricey. If you plan on eating at McDonald’s and staying in your hotel room, it would be cheaper.
I love visiting DC because you can save a ton of money by seeing all free attractions. The Smithsonian museums, the zoo, the monuments, all free.
Hotels probably aren’t cheap (never had to get one), but I’m sure you can find one that’s affordable.
Eating out isn’t really a problem. There are tons of expensive places, but plenty of cheapies to pick from too.
Get all day passes for the metro. It’s like $10 and you can take it wherever you want without paying any more for the rest of the day. Great deal and that’s the way to travel in DC. Or you could just walk.
Well how many politicians do you plan on bribing? If you have pictures of them doing things they shouldn’t have been doing with farm animals, then you won’t need to bring any money with you at all.
