When do hotel prices in Ocean City, MD decrease at the beach in the summer?

I am trying to plan a trip to OCMD beach during the summertime but I wanted to wait for prices to go down after the summer crowd leaves. When is this?

After labor day is when the rates go down. (but not by much) The prices are increasing even in the off season. September and October are pretty quiet at the beach and still not bad weather. Or you could try in the spring before Memorial Day. Good Luck.

They won’t go down in summer. If you are lucky, you will still have some good weather after Labor Day but colder water. Rates come down after this. Other than holiday weekends they get lower and lower as the weather worsens. Plus is the beaches become deserted. Minus, most of the fun goes with the crowd. OC is more of a fun crowd type place not a solitary beatiful place like Cape Cod.
