What is the cheapest priced hotel in New York City?

There are plenty of “cheap” places to stay, but you probably wouldn’t want to stay there any more than I would!
Its cheaper to stay outside of Manhattan, but then if visiting Manhattan you have to pay to get into the city.
We took a trip to New York a few weeks ago, looked at hotel prices, picked a weekend when the prices were not so high (depends on conferences and other events, plus time of year). Used Hotels.com to find a selection of places, read reviews to find out where not to stay, and ended up at the Milford Plaza 1 block from Times Square.
It wasn’t perfect, but for getting around - we were RIGHT THERE!

Good tips on saving money on attractions too - we saved not only a bit of money on entry to the Empire State Building, but a good hour on admission time, which helped enormously.

It provides search option like near a landmark etc
But beware … cheap hotels can be trouble some times so check reviews of the hotel you are going to book.
Check the exact location of hotel from google maps.
