What is a really good priced hotel in New york under $275?
Hotel Pricesbetsey asked:
My cousin and I got our tickets yesterday and we’ll be going during the 7th through the 9th. If you know of any good hotels near times square or in the West or south of manhattan it would really help. We’ve been on the phone for hours looking adn only found the weird hotels.

I stayed at the Marriott near the World Trade Center site the last time I was in town. It was nice and clean and the bed was comfortable plus I dont think it was very much. That was all the way at the south end of Manhattan though, but its a 15 minute subway or cab ride to anywhere else from there.

You picked a bad time of year- hotel rates are at their highest for the holiday season. I doubt you will be able to find something that cheap. I suggest trying
They have the cheapest rates I know of. However I doubt you will find anything for Manhattan for less than $400 a night. So unless your willing to stay near the airport or one outside of Manhattan (Brooklyn, Long Island, etc.) then I think your out of luck.
Good luck though…

You’ll think I’m crazy, but I’ll let you in on a secret that lots of travelers to NYC take advantage of. Stay in Secaucus NJ!
For 249 or 299 you can stay in a highly recommended place and be in the city in 15 minutes. You won’t find anything comparable to this in the city. It’s the Holiday Inn at the Harmon Sports Complex. It’s worth taking a look at!

You can go to ShowMeMyTickets.com and search for hotels, just plug in your date and you’ll get plenty of options. Good luck
and safe trip

Hotwire.com will give you the most for the least. Just plug in the dates you want to stay and hotwire will give you several options. You can choose from three and four star hotels in manhattan or one star hotels by the airport. Just remember one thing…they do not tell you the hotel until you pay, but you can rest assured that you will be getting the best hotel for the money you spend. I got a four star hotel in manhattan from December 18 - 23 for $184.00 a night…better than anything from expedia, orbitz, or priceline. When I called the hotel…the best they could offer was $249.00 a night. I have used Hotwire in the past and you can definitely get the most bang for your buck with them.

Just because you are going to NYC doesnt mean have to stay in NYC. I am going Dec2-5 and staying in Fort Lee New Jersey. There is a bus that takes you to the subway. From there you take the “A” train right into the city… We are staying at the Holiday inn and the bus is right across the street from the hotel… ITS $122.00 A NIGHT WITH A AAA CARD
