What is a good hotel to stay at in cancun?

Some girlfriends and i want to go small a short vacation and we want a good priced hotel that is close or can easily access to a beach and to downtown to hit all the popular nightclubs in the evenings. Its mostly a fun party trip, but we want to stay somewere that is comfortable and safe while we rest in between events.

I stayed in the Blue Bay Getaway and it was gorgeous and the food was great. Has bad reviews but i found these to be unfounded. There prob are more luxurious hotels there though. Moon Palace looked nice.

MOON PALACE. I am going to Moon Palace for my second time this thursday and I am so excited. The food is great, the entertainment is amazing, and so is the pool/facilities. On top of that the hotel is HUGE and you have so much to do there everyday. The only downside is beach which is adequate. If you want a nice beach then go somewhere else. But the other pros make up for the so-so beach. I would recommend going to Moon Palace.

I recommend Barcelo Tucancun. It’s right across the street from the mall and on the bus line so you can hop the bus to the flea markets, restaurants, and the club zone. The beach and the hotel both are beautiful and very reasonably priced.
