the hyatt downtown on wacker is affordable…..easy walk to the art museum, and located 1 block east of michigan ave
sears tower 4 blocks west of the art institute
millenium park is right there, navy pier and lake mich are also within 4 blocks

Though I don’t live in Chicago, my husband is going there and he reserved a room at the Inn of Chicago. He got a room for $149 a night, and the rooms look real nice from the website.
