Try this one, everything else on the seawall is well over $100.
Last time I stayed there it was about $75.

hotel galvez is on the seawall so there are many hotels on the seawall that are of reasonable cost. if you pull a hotel finding website look for the ones that are on seawall blvd. be careful though bc some are kind of seedy and its prime spring break/beach season in galveston right now

The Flagship is within walking distance, but some people say it’s not up to par. I guess that’s just a personal opinion that you’d have to make for yourself. About 5 blocks (smaller than normal city blocks, so maybe about a quarter mile) is the Holiday Inn Sunspree resort. It also has a tiki bar outside, which is always fun. And I believe the Ramada is right there in the vicinity too. Of course, there are plenty more along seawall, but those are the ones within close walking distance. You might have a tough time finding a good deal because it’s beginning to be prime beach season, so the prices go up.

There’s a Ramada Limited adjacent to the Galvez, should have reasonable rates:
Hope that helps!

I’d probably choose the Ramada Limited. Since it’s a chain, it will have certain “standards” that many local places don’t have. I’ve be more confident making a reservation there.

I just stayed at the Holiday Inn in Jan. Was ok there and reasonable rates. But that was Jan too, rates may have gone up. They usually do about now. Tell them you are here for a wedding and not a Spring Breaker, they may give you a break on the rate
